The American Society of Landscape Architects was asked to rank the most popular outdoor design elements for 2018 and here is the list they came up with.  I love it!

#1 Fireplaces and Firepits

Is there anything better than relaxing by a blazing fire?  These two design elements allow you to enjoy your outdoor spaces longer into the fall.

#2 Outdoor Lighting

Lighting is an important design element outdoors as it creates a nuance depending on the style you use.  Perhaps a warm glow is desired for a relazxing vibe. Use it however you like to get the effect you want.

#3 Outdoor Dining

Designing an outdoor dining space extends your indoor living to the outdoors.  Make it yours!  Click the picture for my pinterest board for more ideas.

#4  Outdoor furniture

Outdoor furniture is a must for any outdoor space.  Click the picture for some really cool examples!

#5 Outdoor Kitchens

More people are entertaining outdoors, so what better way to bring the party outside than to have all food prep areas outside? Click the pic for some great examples.
